Comes standard on all Classic Obsessions

Low profile, Crayford type, 2 inch focuser with 1-1/4 inch adaptor (not threaded).
Can be swiveled on it's base to the most convenient position for the focusing knobs.
Adjustable curved mounting base to match the curved Obsession focuser board.
Ball bearing action.
Very smooth. No back lash. Excellent focuser.

$249 Upgrade

The EV1 has an extra fine focus knob that reduces focuser travel by 5:1 ratio when you turn it. It's a bit smoother and can better hold heavy eyepiece barlow combinations or bino viewers.

Same specs as EV1 (above) with Motofocus.
Hand pad included with variable focusing speeds. This option is recommended for users that do public star parties. The hand pad makes it easier for the public to focus in the dark.

$650 Upgrade (standard on all Ultra Compacts)

Low profile, Crayford type, 2 inch focuser, with 1-1/4 inch threaded adaptor for filters.
Adjustable curved mounting base to match the curved Obsession focuser board.
Compression rings in both the 2 inch drawtube and in 1 1/4 inch adaptor for a secure fit.
Extremely smooth.
The Feathertouch has an extra fine focus knob that reduces focuser travel by 10:1 ratio when you turn it. Silky smooth and can hold the heaviest eyepiece barlow combinations, bino viewers or cameras better than anything on the market.
The Feathertouch also can be swiveled on it's base to the most convenient position for the focusing knobs. A machinist dream, it is generally considered the Mercedes of focusers. A joy to use and beautiful to look at.
